Location and maps

Allow location access when you want the app to calculate sunlight for your current position. You can also search for addresses and compare other places on the map.

Camera and AR

Camera access is used for the real-world sun overlay, photos, videos, and skyline tracing. If the overlay does not appear, check iOS camera and motion permissions.

Saved places and media

Saved locations, photos, screenshots, and recordings are kept together on your device so you can return to useful sunlight spots later.

Privacy and permissions

Sun Exposure asks for permissions only when a feature needs them. You can review or change permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
