Planning estimates only
Sun Exposure provides sunlight estimates for planning purposes only. Results may vary based on weather, buildings, terrain, device sensors, location accuracy, and other real-world conditions. The app is not medical, safety, legal, real estate, or agricultural advice.
Data we collect
Sun Exposure does not require an account to use the core app features.
The app may process location, camera, motion, microphone, and photo-library access when you choose features that need those permissions.
Saved places, visits, screenshots, photos, recordings, and related app data are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
How the app uses permissions
Location is used to calculate sun position and sunlight information for selected places.
Camera and motion access support the real-world sun overlay and compass-style alignment.
Microphone access may be used when you record video clips.
Photo-library access is used to save images you choose to save or to select images you choose as thumbnails.
On-device calculations
Sun Exposure performs solar calculations on device.
The app does not sell personal data and does not use advertising tracking.
Apple services
When you search for addresses, view maps, or resolve place names, Apple location and map services may process the request according to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
Sharing and exports
If you share screenshots, photos, recordings, or summaries from the app, that action is controlled by you and may involve Apple's system share sheet or other apps you select.
